But I couldn't do all that for my Scorpio friends and not do something special for my bloggy friends too!! So because this Halloween has taken on a bit of a vintage feel for me this year I started a search for vintage Halloween photos. I tried to make a collection that would include something for everyone... So Behold and Feast Your Eyes on these wonderfully spooky vintage photos.....
Vintage Halloween Babes
(Yes, Coffey for you!! - and for all the classy babes that follow me!!)
Vintage Masked Children
For My Bloggy Spooks (you know who you are!!)
These are some of the creepiest photos I've ever seen. Incidentally, they are also all children. Something about a child in a mask really makes my blood run cold...
Vintage Halloween Art
(for all my artsy-fartsy bloggy friends!!)
Happy Halloween!!!

The vintage Halloween art reminded me that I have a reproduction vintage Halloween postcard somewhere. I should find it and post a picture of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Scorpio too!! Agree....kids in masks are just plain creepy, so wrong. Some cool pictures though :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the pics you found. Very awesome.
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall!!!
Great post!Have a fantastic weekend! I hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteThose kids on masks are going to haunt my nightmares. The kid in the rabbit mask is going to get me!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know it!
DeleteI am a sucker for vintage pinups, the kids really were pure terror captured on film, and I loved the art (except it's making me feel like I need to go craft something orange!).
ReplyDeleteSame here, vintage works for me too. Not so the creepy kids... I hate watching 'Village of the Damned' too!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting post! I love vintage anything. I have to admit, those kids look creepy.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day I was hiding behind the door at the church Halloween party in my dead-man- with-an-axe-in-the-head-and-blood-all-over-my-face-and-shirt when Linda Argo walked in. I jumped out and yelled, “BOO!” She screamed and said, “Johnny, you almost scared my pants off.” I then yelled, “BOO, BOO, BOO!” I’ve always been like this, from an early age.
ReplyDeleteVintage Masked Children = Scary As Hell!
ReplyDeleteAlso reminded me of The Pint-Sized Slasher from the Fallout 3 video game.
Hello There! Been a while since I've been by your blog! Hope you've been well! =)
ReplyDeleteThe spooky kids in masks were the most frightening. Of course, I think there's something inherently spooky about really old pictures with people in them. Neat post.
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered about the bras those women wore back then. I mean everything looked so... er pointy!
